The beer is the color of tanned leather with light head. The aroma is a little faint, but the flavor is very malty with a short bitter finish. This is definitely thicker and maltier than than most. It made for a nice change of pace in our IPA tasting.

Hazy copper-orange color. Very citrusy (orange and pineapple), tangy, nicely bitter, smooth, easy going down. This could be a regular for me if I didn't have to go to PA for it. 8% abv? Didn't notice it (only had one).

Nice foggy copper color with a lacing off-white head. Hoppy aroma. Some citrus and earthy aromas as well. Chewy, hoppy, and malty. A fairly welll-balanced IPA. Overally very well done. Bought this 12 oz bottle at Buy Rite Liquor Store in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Chicago Real Ale Fest keg #37 tapped a fully diminished head of finely sized clear bubbles that disappeared upon entering my glass. The liquid left an oily lace around my glass. The body was a transparent uncarbonated brown colored one and the aroma was mildly hopped. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a lingering hoppy bite. It had a mild malt medium hop flavor.

Bottled: Hazy orange coloring that reminds me of iced tea. Hoppy & bitter without any significant contribution from the malts. Citrusy nose does not come across in the flavor. Dry finish with a resonating chalkiness.

Reddish amber body, no head. Aroma of piney hops and sweet malt. Body is quite thin, dominated by a bitter hoppiness and alcohol warmth. Doesn't seem to be 70 IBUs. Finishes dry.

Hazy orange with a rocky off-white head. Nice semi-sweet cinnamon and citrus aroma. Not much bitterness int eh flavor, mostly malt with a none too pleasant astringency. Alcohol flavor is substantial. This beer is trying to be a British style IPA but the 8.0 abv ruins things overall.

Hazy gold. Nose quite hoppy, big floral/flowery character. Very hoppy, not citric at all, but just bitter-hoppy. Bit bready in the malts. Doesn't mask the 8% at all, pretty harsh.
