Only the strong survive.

IPAs were originally brewed to survive the epic sea voyages from England to India. Ours is no different. Hailing from a firm malt background and loaded through and through with hops, this beer will surely survive the journey from your fridge to your couch.

12oz. Pours lighter gold with a nice white head. Pungent citrus, light pine, and toasted malts to the nose. The flavor is packed with grapefruit, lemon zest, floral notes, and finishing super smooth. What a fantastic brew!

Great balance of malt & hops. Poured dark copper color with about 1/2 inch head. Sweet floral aroma. Clean, sharp citrusy flavor(grapefruit) with a piney almost gin like aftertaste. Overall great IPA.

Piney hop aromas. Clear orange-amber with a somewhat lasting white head. Dry, zippy, nicely bitter. Light bodied, crispy, and refreshing.

On cask at Prohibition Taproom. Pours a medium blond with a inch of head. Mild dank aroma. Taste is a great blend of sweet and hoppy. A great cask IPA if I'd ever had one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark orange amber and clear with a few lazy bubbles coming up to the top. Sported a scant off white head that fell fast to a thin ring and a film oíer top. Not too much lace but good enough.

Nose is strong hops character. Earthy, herbal and scented with ripe fruit and fruit musk. Have you ever smelled a bushel of ripe fruit? Thatís where you can observe fruit musk. Itís clean and has some pine on the nose. The malt smells caramel sweet and breaddy. Buttery rich and full even on the nose. The fruits are orange and a little tart grapefruit, and some peach and mango for tropical notes. There is some fresh grass & earthy spice that I find really pleasant as usually spice is lost to heavy pine scents in a lot of ipaís.

Taste is terrific hops character. This beer has an assertive hop bitter that starts at the mid palate and realizes itself fully at the back of the throat with all the earth and herbal from the nose plus that spice, making a wonderful combination. The malt is full and flows easily and effortlessly and is a tad chewy. The ripe fruit carries a subtle sweetness that isnít a blast of this or that fruit but a sweetly pleasing quality. Toasted grain and biscuit.

This is a very pleasant blend of english and american ipa styles that is easy to drink and has plenty of hop character without an excessive bitter. Friendly yet firm, this is a beer I could go for again and again. I am going to go out on the limb and call it sessionable because it doesnít wreck the palate and because it has a very casual flavor that I really like.

Just your average, everyday IPA. Nothing special, would choose other IPAs over it. Basic

Pours clear classic golden color with a more than two-finger fluffy head. The headís retention is well beyond average. Spotty, yet symmetrical lacing is left on the glass after the head subsides. Pretty subdued, well-blended bouquet for an IPA. Lightly malty, a few sweeter esters, and some grass. A few ground peppery notes too. Mouthfeel is just a bit thicker than having a watery consistency. This is a peculiar IPA. A lot of the fruity character noted in some British brown ales, but much more aggressively hopped, as evidenced by the bitter finish. Very unique.

On tap at Pro Brewers Night at AHA Philadelphia 6/27/2013 Lightly hazy medium gold color, bready caramel nose without enough hops. Decent beer, but not hoppy enough for me.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a deep amber with fluffy beige head and great lace. Nose of caramel, citrus, pine. Medium body, carbonation and bitterness. Nice hop character but too much malt for me.
