Only the strong survive.

IPAs were originally brewed to survive the epic sea voyages from England to India. Ours is no different. Hailing from a firm malt background and loaded through and through with hops, this beer will surely survive the journey from your fridge to your couch.

Tasted from a bottle. A nice looking amber beer with a foamy head. Nice aroma. Taste was a bit weak with a decent hop after taste, but not enough up front.

Pours a clear amber with small white head and long watery legs. Smell is of big juicy bready malts, a bit of corn and bitter hop in the background. Taste is of medium hop, floral malt and lots of alcohol. Body is dry with sharp carbonation. Nice malty English IPA that's drinkable without being boring.

Clear orange pour. Sweet juicy bready aroma with bit of floral hops. Taste is dry hoppy bitterness throughout but with sweet boozy maltiness for balance. Lasting finish. Surprisingly good IPA.

kramer (4690) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a one finger frothy white head that left some heavy lacing. The nose is a mix of piney hops, caramel, and some crystal malt. The flavor has a decent level of bitterness, but the malt base is a bit too sweet under the hops for my tastes. The sweetness especially overtakes the hops toward the back end. Light to medium bodied with a little cling and soft fizzy carbonation. Not my favorite beer from Yards, but itís OK.

This is certainly a more citrusy IPA. Hoppy and flavorful, a pretty good beer with a little higher alcohol.

Bottle. Last beer of the night for me. Clear golden color with large foamy head. Aroma is some nice tropical and citrus notes of hops. Medium bitterness. Hop resin. Slightly above ave carbonation. A nice bouquet of tropical citrus hops. Well done ipa.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Amber with a slight white head. Crisp, slightly sweet mlats, citrus fruits and a dryish finish with a hint of pine. Good.
