SEDUCTIVELY SMOOTH Our brewers have poured their hearts and roasted malts into this rich, slightly sweet stout. Luscious notes of coffee and chocolate accent the smooth, creamy mouth feel. We will not apologize for any amorous affairs resulting from the consumption of this beverage

Pours black with brown edges, with a one finger tan head which quickly fades to very little lacing. Aroma is of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, sweet malts, caramel, molasses, and some light burnt notes. Taste is similar to the aroma minus the burnt notes and with some added light fruitiness. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a decently tasty, easy drinking stout that is pretty sessionable for the style

DATE TASTED: November 12, 2015 ... GLASSWARE: Guinness pint... OCCASION: a rainy night looking forward to Friday... APPEARANCE: dark black body, as expected; brow, fraying head settles thickly, exhibiting creaminess and consistency... AROMA: chocolate and coffee immediately, as promised; some nuttiness in the malts, but the sweetness and toasted promise is clear and present--a pleasure to inhale... PALATE: creamy early, somewhat smooth in its middle, and lingering in its warmth late... a bit heavy and flat at the finish as well... TASTE: a silky sweetness begins the profile, and its toastiness is palpable but dry; peaty notes make for a rounded, relaxed flavor overall... OVERALL: a stout with little to complain about...actually, flip that--a stout with a lot going for it, and prop to Yards for getting it right...phenolic fragrance detracts slightly from the experience but overall, a solid styling...

12 oz bottle at The Park House in Pittsburgh. Nice and dark with very tasty coffee and roasted grain flavors. The flavor stays on with you for the whole glass.

12 oz bottle served in tulip. Creamy off white head dissapears completly leaving almost no lacing. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts with hints of vanilla and chocolate. Smooth finish. Medium bodied beer with light carbonation. Overall good easy drinking flavorful stout for a reasonable price.

Draft at Towne Tavern. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Doesn’t leave much lacing in the glass. Nice roasted malt notes on the nose. Solid chocolate malt notes on the tongue with enough bitterness on the tongue to keep things interesting without being oppressive. Good example of style.

Served from nitro tap in a tulip glass. Had thick light brown head with characteristic wait for it to settle. Malty sweet aroma, but first taste was exceptional. Exactly as described with the super smooth palate, creamy sweet with the bite of dark chocolate and coffee malts. Light on the hops but overall tops in my book.

Draft at Washington St. Ale House in Wilmington. Thin creamy head. Medium bodied. Smooth and creamy palate. The flavor profile is kind of one dimensional, showcasing deeply roasted malts. No chocolate or coffee noted. Ashy, dry finish. Pretty straightforward. Medium bodied.

Poured into tulip glass from bottle, pretty tan head but not much aroma. Medium bodied at best. Chocolate and roasted grain taste with slight sweetness, mild hops edge in the finish.

On tap. Description seemed to indicate that this was an oyster stout, but I don’t see anything here about it. Deep dark brown pour with a nitro tap. Didn’t really get any of the saltiness I was hoping for, mostly just a rich sweet stout. Lots of chocolate throughout.
