COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An English sweet stout made with pale and dark English malts, English noble hops and 150 whole oysters -- shell and all. The oysters are thrown into the brew kettle during the boil stage of the brewing process, adding calcium to the wort. The result is a passionately smooth stout.

Tap at Homegrown... Thought I rated this a long time ago... Black in color.... nice khacki colored head. Smells good. Roasted malts, light chocolate, slight saltiness. Taste is a light stout but far from watery. Roasted malts, chocolate, salty. Easy drinking stout

Dark dark brown, nice head retention. Coffee bean aroma. Body isn’t too impressive. The finish is fairly bitter, seeming to lack a little more of a body for good balance. Creamy texture which is pretty nice. A little bit of a sweet finish as well, lacking in nice roasted flavors.

Very nice color and aroma. The few that I had at Yards were poured perfectly with a nice head. A nice beer that I would order again.

Cask. Black color, massive tan head. Aroma of lightly smoked chocolate milk. Taste is also smokey, with burnt espresso and bitter cocoa. Light body. Nice.

On draught at the Wharf Rat, Baltimore 5/12/2012. Black in colour with a creamy, off-white head. Dark chocolate and sweet, dark fruit aroma. Easy, slightly creamy mouth-feel, with more chocolate and fruit and a slightly dry finish. Fine.

On nitro. Black liquid, small light brown head. Aroma slighty roasty, mild chocolate, not very intense. Flavor is smooth and creamy, almost no carbonation. Some classic stout components in there. Very drinkable and sessionable! Good one =)

Draft @ the brewery, 13 Oct 2012. The aroma is bitter chocolate, some grain and chocolate notes. The flavor is espresso, bitter chocolate, and a bit of sugar. Nice dry finish with a somewhat smooth mouthfeel. This brewery mock clone of Guinness. Not bad in at all.

Milky brown pour...looks like chocolate milk. Taste is also very chocolatey.Bubbly palate, with a lighter sweet taste. Light for a stout
