Jan 18, 2004 I intend to visit this brewery soon and try some of their other products. This Philly Pale Ale however Paled in comparison to other ales I have tasted and at that price forget it.
Still planning on trying out all of their stuff. Being from Philly i have to give em a try.

Jan 6, 2004 Not a very good pale ale. Tasted pretty flat. I couldnt even tell there was alcohol in it. Too sweet tasting as well and it didnt smell good at all.

Dec 25, 2003 Perfumy nose that I didn't like. Hazy brown color and foamy rocky had. Light tight spicy end, otherwise nothing special here. Too perfumy.

Dec 22, 2003 Misses the mark. Some overpowering fermenting fruit flavor, apricot or other, spoils the experience. Unbalanced on the malty side and weak. Try again.

Dec 21, 2003 Acidic nose. Light red color. Little lazer of a head, leaving laces on the glass. Weak bitter citrus taste.
