T3llLAllDE (82), USA Jul 13, 2007 not a bad pale ale by any means. nice color with pretty heavy carbonation very light in taste with a very thin body. i think just a little to much carbonation to really taste the beer it was drinking a big head in a bottle kramer (2407), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 29, 2007 12 oz bottle, via Zathrus13. Pours a clear dark gold body under a generous foamy white head. Lots of carbonation and lots of protein chunkies on the second pour. Aroma is of light floral hops with a hint of bready malt. A little grassiness also. The flavor is leafy grassy hops with a light perfumy taste on the finish. Minimal malt impact. Mouthfeel is thin with a little too much foaming carbonation. A run of the mill APA. The carbonation was a big detractor for me. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Jun 25, 2007 12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a slightly hazy (poured a little sediment in there) bright orangish color with a half finger thick white head that faded quickly. Aroma is citrus (oranges) and light toasted malt. Has a narly bitter taste. Flavor isn’t quite right. Light to medium body. It might be me, but there is something a little off about this beer. Thanks Jason. BitchesBrew (710), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 24, 2007 [bottle, from zathrus13] Hazy, straw colored with a minimal white head. Faint sulphur in the aroma. Harsh, bitter flavors with sweet malts and a slightly toasty finish. ryan (1774), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Jun 13, 2007 Hazy, pale body with a small white head. The aroma is citrus, bread and honey. The flavor is fairly dry, some tea, orange, grapefruit and bread. Medium/light body is thin with light carbonation. joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Jun 5, 2007 Light brown appearance. Lacks in both the hop character and in balance when compared to Yards on ESB, a definite step down mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA May 25, 2007 Light brown-yellow in color. Small head of medium sized bubbles which lingers around for a while. Aroma is slightly fruity with light malts. Taste is watery and bitter, and not bitter like a good English Bitter HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada May 17, 2007 Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy and biegaman, biegaman’s bottle. Hazy pale gold, small white head. Stale aroma of degraded pine hops, mild lemon and very weak malt. Weak taste, mild stale citrus hops, quick finish. Watery body, fizzy mouthfeel, slightly harsh finish. Ehh - stale and not great.
