COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe that all other ales pale in comparison to this one. Brewed with pilsner malt, Philadelphia Pale Ale is crisp and hoppy, bursting with citrus flavors and aromas. Philadelphia Pale Ale was named one of the best Pale Ales in the country by the New York Times.

A great tangy, bitter ale with good hop presence. Full flavor yet light enough for a hot sunny day.

Growler Mom brought home from Philly for me. Clear gold. Aroma of citrus, lemon zest, and a little pine. The taste follows suit with a some light bread/grain. The palate is light and clean. This is forgettable. There isn’t anything wrong with it but, nothing stands out either. Pretty plain.

Bright citrus flavor. Good pour...nice presentation in the glass. Carbonation and hops leave clear finish. Pilsner malt & 4.6 abv keeps it light enough to have another.

Yellow gold pour with a decent white head. Large citrus and toasted grain to the nose. Flavor is watery and bland. Some citrus and bready notes. Forgettable.

Bright citrus flavor. Really pleasant balance between hops and flavor. Just malty enough to balance out without being annoying. Why can’t they make a bigger version of this??? Really great beer.

11/23/13 @ pizzeria uno (Food sucked BTW). Golden color with big fluffy head that lasted throughout the entire beer. Medium hippiness and citrus Taste was like the nose. Nothing overpowering. well balanced. Very refreshing. Could drink a ton during a summer day. Glad I drank it. It was the only interesting beer on the menu ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pours pale gold with thick foamy white head. Grapefruit, floral, earth. Lightly bitter and sweet. Light body with some carbonation.

draft- I think it is a delicious light pale ale with simple flavors. It goes great with a burger. light yellow pour with an ok head that doesn’t last to long. I think it is perfect!

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2013 Golden yellow typical appearance. Floral hoppy aroma. Quite bitter and carbonated. Not bad. like an American IPA-lite.

On draft right on Rittenhouse Square! What a pleasant surprise! Great refreshment but still full-flavored. And not at all overdone on the hops. An excellent choice in a pale ale, especially if you're planning to have more than one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
