hopdog (5535), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 18, 2004 Poured a hazy golden yellow with a huge, huge white frothy head. Lots of particles. Citris hoppy and fruity armoa. Tastes of apples and lemons mixed with malts. Different tasting - a little weak but overall not too bad. hopscotch (5444), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 2, 2005 Bottle... Crystal clear golden ale with a large, frothy, white head. Great retention. Wispy, cumulus lacework. Yeasty, floral aroma with notes of biscuit and butterscotch. Perfectly balanced flavor, but almost entirely nondescript except for an earthy, herbal taste. Medium-bodied and a little oily with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not offensive, but not at all special either. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jan 1, 2005 (Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a rocky eggshell head. Mild citrus aroma. Bland flavor of sweet malts. Somewhat bitter. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Aug 13, 2005 12 oz bottle-pours a creamy white head. Color is yellow/gold. Aroma is hops with a hint of grain. Taste is tangy, grapefruit, mild carbonation. Nice, refreshing. Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Nov 1, 2009 Pours copper with a white head. Smells of citrus, earthy, tea. Tastes earthy and peppery with some citrussy elements on the finish. JoeMcPhee (4911), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 19, 2009 Very pale golden colour. Aroma is lightly citrusy with pale malts an a kiss of soft fruity hops. Light apricot/peach aroma with a soft bitterness. It’s a little bit malty as well. Lean-bodied and fairly tropical tasting. It’s not a crazy intense beer but it isn’t bad either. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 13, 2004 Pours dark yellow. Aroma of hops, citrus, slight fruit. Finishes crisp, slightly dry. Mediocre.
