hazy yellow, thin white head, touch of lace sliding down the glass, nice floral hop aroma with a hint of sweetness, light body, nice hop flavor and a long bitter finish, just a bit of sweet malt upon warming adds balance

muzzlehatch (4405), Richmond, Vermont, USA Oct 20, 2002 Had this on tap at the Philly airport, served from a plastic cup. Not the ideal circumstance, but I had other stuff there that held up, so I think its fair to rate this. Bad. Just bitterness. Nothing but bitterness. Not really hoppy, exactly; no fruit, no herbal character. Just plain astringent, gagging bitterness. No body to speak of; avoid. hopscotch (4214), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 2, 2005 Bottle... Crystal clear golden ale with a large, frothy, white head. Great retention. Wispy, cumulus lacework. Yeasty, floral aroma with notes of biscuit and butterscotch. Perfectly balanced flavor, but almost entirely nondescript except for an earthy, herbal taste. Medium-bodied and a little oily with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not offensive, but not at all special either. hopdog (4196), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 18, 2004 Poured a hazy golden yellow with a huge, huge white frothy head. Lots of particles. Citris hoppy and fruity armoa. Tastes of apples and lemons mixed with malts. Different tasting - a little weak but overall not too bad. motelpogo (4082), Plzen, Czech Republic Nov 8, 2004 on tap in philadelphia. pretty bland for a yards beer. brown, not a lot of aroma, pretty simple citric bitterness, pretty uninspiring
