Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe all other ales pale in comparison to ours. Dry hopped with an abundance of distinctive Simcoe hops, this straw colored pale ale is more drinkable than bitter, more aromatic than aggressive. Philly Pale, as itís better known, is crisp, hoppy, and bursting with citrus. Philadelphia Pale Ale was named one of the best Pale Ales in the country by the New York Times.

Very fruity with some malt. Hop presence not very strong. A decent example

One of the most popular brews in the region, Philly Pale is an excellent, well balanced beer. Nice citrus taste, goes down smooth and easy. Slightly hoppy, but not too aggressive. The perfect beer for kicking back and having a few with friends while you enjoy the game or the weather or just life in general.

Bottle from Perfect Pour. Golden body with medium, soapy head. Nose is hoppy and soapy as well. Taste is hoppy up front with citrus and floral and wheaty. Creamy texture.

Poured a golden color with aromas of dryness, light bitter hops and some light malt. Flavors are the same with light hops and dry aftertaste decent but basic.

This is the best pale ale in the world. Also it is better than most IPAs. Supremely drinkable. Amazing aroma. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A pale ale can either be too dry and too bitter, or it can be a perfect thing to drink. This falls somewhere in between. Itís bitter, to be sure, but not in a way that makes it hard to drink. Beyond that, though, itís light in color and in flavor and doesnít do much else. Smells floral.

Blonde to bronze in color with a flimsy head. This APA is more assertive than I was expecting, starting off with a raft of bitter hops in the nose with some nice dryness to it. The body is assertively hoppy with a good bitter backbone and some interesting fruity and twangy notes. Malt backbone is there to contribute some balance and not much else.

Pours a pale amber with almost no head. Nose is spunky and cider-like. Taste is lightly hoppy, but on the sweet side. Refreshing, albeit simple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bella Notte pizza in Pittsburgh. Just an average ho-hum pale ale in an saturated category of meidocre efforts

Pints at a pub in Wilmington, DE. A very average pale ale with sweet malts and citrusy hops. No flaws, nothing above average. Ok.
