COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe that all other ales pale in comparison to this one. Brewed with pilsner malt, Philadelphia Pale Ale is crisp and hoppy, bursting with citrus flavors and aromas. Philadelphia Pale Ale was named one of the best Pale Ales in the country by the New York Times.

The beer pours a light orange to gold color with a thin white head. The feel is crisp and bubbly with a nice dry finish. There’s a pleasant interplay of cream soda like sweetness and dry hoppiness. The hops are not out front - they play more of a backing role in this ale, but it works well. Moreover, this beer is very drinkable and smooth. Good for summer parties or any situation where you might be interested in having a few brews and still be able to walk in a straight line.

Ok pale ale. Sweet fresh hops, not incredibly complex but pretty simple and enjoyable. Sweet citrus flavor lingers, not much bitterness. Not exciting but average without any big errors.

Light amber pour from 12oz bottle. 1/2 inch foam, white, with persistent thin lacing. I have to admit, this is the fourth of these I’ve had, and it gets better each time I’ve had it - from being a non-repeater to, "sure, I’ll have one." Bitter hop lingers in the mouth for minutes after, and the palate is reasonably weak, but it is crisp and refreshing. Citrus hop nose.

Location/Date:Bottle from Jay during Caps watching, April 2nd, 2013.

Appearance: Pours a clear gold.
Aroma: Aroma of light hop.
Taste: LIght hop, decent balance, some citrus..
Palate:Llight body.

Summary: An okay APA that does that job, but not really to the level I expect of APAs in terms of bitterness. Does have a light abv.

Appearance: Golden in color about a finger of white head; not completely clear a bit hazy. Aroma is citrus. Very light taste a bit bitter and citrusy, that makes for a refreshing beer, very easy to drink.

Bottle, fresh from the brewery. Pours a clean light gold with one finger of white head. Nose is grapefruit, lemon, sweet caramel and honey malt. Not overly hoppy but the hop flavor dominates - citrus and pineapple. When fresh this is one of my favorite pale ales/session beers.

Light citrusy aroma, Not overbearing. I can definitely taste the pilsner hops mixed with the american hops, it provides for a lighter pale ale. It definitely gives you a Pilsner finish. Good beer for 4.6.

Tasted from a bottle. Golden colored, clear beer. Not much aroma, not much on taste.
