Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe all other ales pale in comparison to ours. Dry hopped with an abundance of distinctive Simcoe hops, this straw colored pale ale is more drinkable than bitter, more aromatic than aggressive. Philly Pale, as it’s better known, is crisp, hoppy, and bursting with citrus. Philadelphia Pale Ale was named one of the best Pale Ales in the country by the New York Times.

Tap. Clear golden pour with minimal head. Citrus and a bit of caramel. Not too interesting.

This is the best pale ale in the world. Also it is better than most IPAs. Supremely drinkable. Amazing aroma. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A pale ale can either be too dry and too bitter, or it can be a perfect thing to drink. This falls somewhere in between. It’s bitter, to be sure, but not in a way that makes it hard to drink. Beyond that, though, it’s light in color and in flavor and doesn’t do much else. Smells floral.

Blonde to bronze in color with a flimsy head. This APA is more assertive than I was expecting, starting off with a raft of bitter hops in the nose with some nice dryness to it. The body is assertively hoppy with a good bitter backbone and some interesting fruity and twangy notes. Malt backbone is there to contribute some balance and not much else.

Pours a pale amber with almost no head. Nose is spunky and cider-like. Taste is lightly hoppy, but on the sweet side. Refreshing, albeit simple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bella Notte pizza in Pittsburgh. Just an average ho-hum pale ale in an saturated category of meidocre efforts

Pints at a pub in Wilmington, DE. A very average pale ale with sweet malts and citrusy hops. No flaws, nothing above average. Ok.

Couple of 12oz bottles at my hotel in Philly. Pours a mostly clear gold with some fluffy, white head. Nose has lemon, mild pine, straw, lightly floral, some grist. Flavor has some biscuit, lemon, grass, straw. Crisp finish, easy drinker.

Bottle: It poured a golden yellow with a small head. It had a grapefruit and floral nose with a big citrus hop kick. Very enjoyable.

Sehr angenehmer Geruch nach Gras, weißen Trauben und Zitrus. Ausgewogener Geschmack. Sehr süffig.
