Yards proudly donates $1 from every case sold to breast cancer research and awareness. So when you drink PYNK, you are helping us do more good. Cheers to that! Yards PYNK is a beer like no other. We add 3,300 pounds of sour and sweet cherries and raspberries to each batch, resulting in a tart berry ale that’s effervescent and pleasantly pink in color. Delighting the palette, this light-bodied brew finishes refreshingly dry.

Poured from the bottle. Pours a crystal clear pinkish color with a bit of a gold hue to it. Head is creamy pink and goes from almost two fingers to almost nothing fairly quickly. Aroma is dominated by raspberry, followed by sour cherry, and then some wheat malt sweetness. Tastes follow the aromas with a bit more of the sour cherry giving a nice dose of tartness and last of the finish is typical wheat malt. This is quite refreshing and tasty. Need to have a blind taste test with this and a UFO raspberry hefeweizen from Harpoon.

I liked this beer better than most it seems. Strong aroma of cherries and the taste follows through with a slight tartness from the raspberries. Nice clean fruit beer.

Poured ruby red with a bubbly light pink head that faded quickly. Aroma of tart raspberries. Very sweet with a tingling sensation on the palate. I wish this was more complex but just a straightforward sweet, juicy fruit beer.

12 ounce bottle. Amber hue with pink highlights. Moderate sized fluffy beige head. Sweet berry nose. Notes of yeast and lemon peel. Tart berry malt flavor. Thin bodied and salty. Sour malt finish. Nothing special.

Pours a clear pinkish color with a tiny pink head. Very bubbly almost like champagne. Very thin and watery with some carbonation. Its description talks about raspberries but I only got a semi sweet fruity flavor that was rather blah and not long lasting. I expected it to be a little more fruity and flavorful but it isn’t anything special. This and some of the other American fruit beers seem more like Kool-Aid with a little kick. The Belgians do a much better job. IF you want a good fruit beer try Huyghe Delirium Red.

Pours an attractive pinkish-copper with thin white head that fizzes away almost immediately. Initial cloudiness is carbonation. Nose is tart berries and cherries, bread and whiff of salt. Follows through in the glass with same combination of raspberries and cherries with a faint suggestion of stone fruit, plus bread and salt. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy. Hits the tartness without being mouth-puckering, very sessionable.

Aroma is light and fruity, but not too much of anything identifiable. Clear pink color. Minimal head. Taste is ummmm bad. Alkaseltzer. Sour fruit. Like a Raspberry Tums. Glad to support breast cancer research though.

Pours a pinkish-orange hue into the glass with a wispy head that leaves thin ring lacing. The nose is of sweet and sour raspberry and cherry citrus, with a hint of esters and sourdough. Flavors are of tart cherries, raspberries, esters, some lightly sweet stone fruits (peaches and apricots), and finishes with tart citrus and sourdough notes. The medium-light mouthfeel and zesty carbonation to the palate provides a nice quaff for the hot summer months. A subtle cross between a radler and a sour ale, there are some nice things going on here. Trust, this is not an ordinary "fruit beer", but something a little further into the complexity scale, blurring the lines between traditional and wild ale offerings. Certainly decent.... and supports a wonderful charity.

pours reddish pink with a thin white head. Aroma of raspberries and cherries, really nice fruity aroma. Taste is slightly tart, jammy sweet with a wheat presence in the finish.
