Saisons were originally brewed to keep farmhands happy and hydrated during the warm summer months. True to the style, Yards’ Saison is a semi-unfiltered Belgian style ale brewed with distinctive Belgian yeast. It’s delicate and fruity with a subtle spiciness. Styrian Goldings in the kettle lend a touch of hop to the palate, balancing out this highly drinkable version of the classic style. Available April through July or until supplies last.

On draft, in a tulip at Woodberry Kitchen on my birthday! Golden amber with bubbly white head and strong lacing. A sweet fresh baked bread essence with orange marmalade and spice on the nose and palate... Easy to drink... Paired well with the crab pot. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into tulip glass, slight hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, bread, mild spices (mainly clove) and slightly metallic. Taste seems to have more happening; added notes of pepper, citrus (lemon, orange rind), more spices (rosemary, lemongrass) and some grass. Light body, moderate carbonation, effervescent, crisp with slight yeasty finish. Decent sessionable saison.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured a bit hazy, Deep orange, with a think white head, nice lacing on the head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity with some spices (clove maybe). Taste is citrusy and spicy (a bit peppery), finishes a bit dry but still quite refreshing. Not a bad summer beer.

Bottle pour..light orange color..minimal head..aroma mostly of doughy breadiness not much else.taste is a tad spicy with some Belgian presence but lacks that typical lemony peppery saison profile..quite tame and comes off more as a weak bland Belgian ipa..finishes the same with a medium body slight carbonation and not much complexity..

Perfumy, floral aromas, with some herbaceous notes, light banana, and a hint of lime. Clear, bubbly, and golden with a mostly retaining, white head. Dry crackery malts and earthy hops, with some prevalent Belgian sugar flavors as well. Light, spicy, and refreshing.

Wheaty, slightly bitter, and very fruity. Citrus notes linger even after the sip is gone. A nice orange-yellow color with some head only.
