And from a brewery that has disappointed me in the past, sort of like Two Brothers Brewing out of Chicago, a hit or miss operation that also brews a Saison. This beer has strong notes of coriander, and Belgian yeast. Clearly the right ingredients are being used. My only fault, if I may nitpick, with this brew is that it's perhaps a touch metallic-tasting. But Yards has avoided the oft-repeated overcarbonation of Saisons that you see in Foret and its ilk. Aroma is fruity and ’Belgian’ in character with a touch of spiciness and some citrus notes. Actually quite nice! Flavor is fairly rich but not complex - OK for a saison. Fruity, sweetish malt with a good mouthfeel - highly effervescent. Dryish in the finish, but not really bitter. Gives a nice, sweet and fruity burp. Very Belgian. In a blind tasting wouldn’t question that it was imported. This beer has improved since they’ve moved to the new brewery, and is now one of my favorite local beers. hopscotch (5558), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

The commercial description is accurate. Just a really good saison. Lots of big bits of yeast floating around. Nutritious. Not only good, but good for you. Slovak34 (99), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

If this has candy sugar they damn sure let it ferment all the way out cause there is zero sweetness in the aroma. Lemony, wheat-like aroma that is hearty and bready with light funk notes. Body is a pale/faded yellow and holds a rapidly diminishing white head. Fore has a wheat beer like feel, but with some extremely mild funky notes. Feels and tastes very hearty up front. Some more mild spiciness thru the middle and finish. It’s not really a saison. tastes very much like a Belgian Wit with less wheat in the malt bill and less coriander. But it is a damn tasty beer. All the components are muted, but collectively this beer is assertive and damn enjoyable. Vastly underrated in my opinion. DeadGuyFrank (347), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA

Had odors of bread, molasses, grapefruit for a touch of citrus. Initial taste is subtly sweet then moderately bitterness which is outstanding. This beer has a lively carbonation with a slightly chalcky finish. This is imho a terrific beer.
