Dec 16, 2006 A hazy golden beer with a huge yellow head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of lemon zest. The flavor is rather sweet with primary notes of lemon zest and yeast, leading to a dry end with notes of lemon and wheat.

Jun 9, 2001 While rather uneventful under normal conditions, Yards Saison improves BIG TIME after a year in the cellar. So much complexity, yeastiness, peppery-malty flavours and barnyardy acidity, it’s hard to believe that it’s the same beer. Give it a year and see what I’m talking about.

Jun 6, 2005 Light hazy golden body wears a white 1cm foam. Crushed coriander grains bathe amidst grainy, husky malts. Faint herbal profile accentuates the big lack of hops in there. Very light sweet and tart flavours, not very tasty at all, vegetal and citrusy. 7-up limey mouthfeel, soda-pop like with its moderately high carbonation over a thin body. Poor saison..

Sep 11, 2005 Pours a hazy, pale golden with a thin, fizzy white head. Floral, bready yeasty aroma has some dry, earthy, and grassy attributes. Body starts semi-sweet and tart, turning more dry, floral, and thin toward the finish. This brew has nice authenticity from an American brewer, but could use a touch more sweetness.
