3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I admit it, I bought this one soley based on the label (which i peeled off and kept because I thought it was cool). Poured a little cloudy copper color with some offwhite foamy head. Aroma is hard to describe, kinda citrusy and sweet. Taste is citrusy and bitter, good mouthfeel. Overall, pretty decent.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fairly standard clean straw color with an off white head and thin lacing. Nothing exceptional about the aroma or flavor but both were mildly pleasing with a fairly solid hop component. Some noted a sweet character but I didn’t pick that up. Overall an OK beer but not one worth going out of your way to find.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet aroma. Golden color. Mainly sweet with a bit of hops to back it up and lively carbonation. I most certainly enjoyed this beer. TJ knew how to make a good beer.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This was extremely disappointing. I was expected a solid ale, with nice refreshing ale flavor and smooth transitioning. Instead I received a lackluster, unacceptably inconsistent disaster. This was just wholely unimpressive ... it really could have been much better. I always have a gripe when a beer’s price is unjustifiable ... should be a buck a bottle.

Pretty nice and tasty. Malty, but not overwhelming. Kind of an amber color. A good beer that I had on draft at the old City Tavern in Old City Philly.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It’s OK, malty toffee like aroma, pours an amber color with pretty good decent head. Citrusy spicy taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark orange with a foamy off-white head. Very sweet toffee/buttery aroma with a sour citrus hop smell behind it. Taste is very smooth with a good dose of malt up front followed up by a citrus hop finish with a moderate bitterness. Well balance and creamy palate ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle opened with an ominous whoosh and when poured in my Chimay glass produced a massive off white head. Color is a medium chessnut. Aroma is rather sour with some hop grapefruitiness. Flavor is also sour and bitter with a decent hop bite. The ale seemed to be a bit of a conundrum, and I enjoyed it. I might like to think of it more along the lines of a hoppy Belgian Strong.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very large frothy head. Light carbonation. Nice fruity aroma. Oranges/citrus with a good helping of hops. Color is a nice orange/amber. Flavor is very citrusy. Grapefruit and oranges with a good amount of hops. Finish has a hint of alcohol and is a little bitter. Grapefruit aftertaste. A decnt brew. Not sure whether I would classify it as an american strong ale though. Not enough malt and body. Regardless, quite good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber color, with a small white head. Malty aroma, also with fruit and yeast.
Taste starts sweet, but ends a little bitter. Alcohol is too up front ans subtracts from the overall taste.
