Ungstrup (10432), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 16, 2006 An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges combined with a fine presence of hops, giving it a grapefruit note as well as a dry bitter end. omhper (9704), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 28, 2005 Updated: Oct 4, 2005Bottled. Hazy golden, rich head. Perfumy honey aroma. Very sweet with soft, spritzy mouthfeel. Medium to full body with well structured malt profile. Peachy hops provide a bitter, salty finish. Honey however dominates the beer, and the sweetness gets a bit much, despite the efforts of the hops and malt. argo0 (5871), Washington DC, USA Jul 10, 2004 Sparkling clear amber body topped by medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, wood/leather/tobacco, caramel, grape. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, spicy/earthy hop, some grape (that becomes more prominent as the beer warms), ginger. Soft, medium body. Alcohol is amazingly well hidden. Quite a nice treat. Rastacouere (5109), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 6, 2005 Light orange hue wearing a ring of white foam. English hop nose, possibly Fuggles hit you with salty grains and dry fruits (apples, oranges). Extremely sulfury palate, salty, sea air breeze and nothing, but overwhelming dryness. Intense carbonation, not very cleaning at all. This is a shock, aggressively dry, sulphur notes lasting forever and a long whiff of alcohol vapors. It fails to procure me any pleasure… oh6gdx (4759), Vaasa, Finland Oct 3, 2005 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Strong sweet apricot in aroma along with citrus and a sting of alcohol. Smooth fruity and flowery flavour. Some hops too.
