2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Has a pretty copper color. Smell is mild, slightly sweet. Taste is a bit unusual, bready, hops, alcohol, lots of flavors pulling in different directions. Overall a mediocre beer.

Pours an amber brown color with an off white head. Malty-slightly hoppy aroma, a hint of caramel. Bread-yeast flavor as well. Medium bodied, a little flat but overall alright.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours copper with a beige head and lacing. The aroma is tea, caramel, and grass. The taste is caramel, slight hop bitterness, earthy, herbal, and a hint of candy sweetness. It?s pretty creamy. It packed a nice punch. This is pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours amber-orange with a one finger off white head which fades to just a little lacing. Aroma is of eye, citrus, pine, spicy hops, bready malts, sweet malts, and some toffee. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, slightly warming, medium-lonf finish. Overall, a pretty tasty American strong ale, especially considering the age of the recipe Yard’s used.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Castlebay Irish Pub. Amber body with nice head. Nose of malts, rye and some hops. Taste is rye, wheat and some hop. Not very good in my opinon. Too strong and full forced.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours attractive orange-amber with small off-white head that leaves small lacing.
Aroma is straightforward: malt, rye, pine. A bit more complexity in the glass especially as it warms, with caramel, dough, floral hops, medium but not lingering bitterness. Higher ABV than expected from the light body.
Interesting from an historical perspective, but closer to unobjectionable than exceptional.
