COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Taking elements from two classic Belgian styles, we’ve crafted a beer that incorporates the best characteristics of both tripels and dubbels. Trubbel boasts the strength and spiciness of a tripel and the rich malt character of a dubbel. We brew this uncommon ale with a classic Belgian yeast strain, dark Belgian candi sugar, and a unique blend of specialty malts, producing subtle biscuit, chocolate, and caramel overtones. Available November through January beginning in even years only.

Bottle gifted by Leafs93. Wow. Again impressed by this young brewery. Pours a cloudy brown color with a caramel colored head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, and Belgian spice. Sweet caramel taste, with chocolate notes and Belgian spice. This mix works very well. Love it.

Pretty decent - bottle from Wegs in State College. Pretty much a standard dubbel in taste and characteristics, dark, sweet, malty, a bit of yeasty action in the nose and palate gives it an edge. But somehow they stuck a bit more alcohol in there, totally undetectable, a bit more than a dubbel. Well done.

Pours dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma has some sweet dark fruit...fig, raisin, and some spicy/yeasty notes. Flavor is sweet and figgy...light earthy/roastiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium...a bit thin...with a slightly dry earthy/malty finish.
