COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(Translated from Russian):
Released in 1997. A pale beer that wonderfully quenches thirst on a hot summer day and warms during the winter. A taste with a pleasant hoppy bitterness. 11°

Rice is the adjunct here, it isn’t any worse than a budweiser, but that doesn’t make it good.

Honey and hay aroma, a little shitty. Clear golden, thick white head. Grainy and quite shitty. Grapenut finish. Has flavor and is refreshing but is nothing special.

Bottle sample at the Hopsnobbery Collective "From Russia With Suds" tasting on 1/2/10. Semi-hazy yellow pour with a medium white head. Sweet malt aroma with some crisp hop. Flavor is about the same with a watery finish.

Sample at the "From Russia With Suds" tasting on 01/02/10: This beer is a hazy light yellow color with a thin and rocky off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, grain and mild hops. The finish is clean and fruity with a short malt aftertaste. Pretty boring all around.

This one poured a clear yellow alsmot straw color with a white head. Aroma was corn and grassy not much aelse. Flavor was typical pale lager but nothing really offensive. Not good but more refreshing than the average of this style.

Sampled at the ’09 RBPTE, courtesy of cheapdark. Light malt aroma and light hops, with a bit of corn aroma. Light yellow clear colorwith small frothy white diminishing head. Light thin body with average carbonation. Fairly standard pale lager taste with a bit of corn and light bitter finish.

Scent reminded me of a Heiney (beer not body part) that hadn’t been skunked. Fizzy and yellow in the pour, not much going on there. Tiny hop bite in the taste, refreshing.
