1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 nuplastikk (3289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 3, 2007A drinkable beer, as far as Russians tend to go. Not really much amber presence. Super filtered, light and golden. Still suffers from the typical sugary taste of inexpensive eastern European beers, but has a just enough hop and malt character to escape the bottom of the barrel.

A very decent beer.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Lemke10 (541) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2012
I bought a 51oz plastic bottle of this at Woodman’s West in Madison, WI for $1.99.
Pours a clear amber color with a slight but quickly disappearing head. Scent is mild with cheap malts and the taste is watery with grassy grains. Is decently sweet and light with a dry finish. In the realm of beers this isn’t very good, but at $2 for 51oz this is a great tasting beer. I would take this any day over a 24oz can of Miller/Bud for the same price.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Petronius (55) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Light body, dough/bread and sugar in the nose and in the mouth, bitterish aftertaste. Not very pleasant.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 NobleSquirrel (3313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Plastic bottle from Gene’s. Pours a deep gold, near amber. Thin white head. Nose is fruity and sweet. Malt notes are barely perceived. Maize and dough. On taste, quite sweet and doughy. Some apple notes and a hint of cardboard. A bit chemically and rough but somehow charming when served ice cold. A nice enough change. Decent.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ectuohy27 (379) - ESTONIA - JUN 26, 2011
Not very good--highly metallic taste throughout; low hops, adjunct, and more metal. Strangely refreshing but not that pleasant (Brighton)
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 jkwood04 (2298) - Connecticut, USA - APR 11, 2011
500ml bottle in a shaker. Pours light golden with a white head. Flavor of a typical pale lager with the toast, but there’s a lot of the bad tin flavor that’s in some bad beers of this style. Better than a lot of cheap beers, but not good.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 larsga (5327) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 5, 2010
Big white shiny head does not last. Pale coppery body. Soapy fruity peppery aroma with mealy notes. Dryish mealy apple taste with soda and fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish empty mealy fruity aftertaste with metallic raisin notes. Not bad. (0.5l bottle, grocery store, St. Petersburg.)
