DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2011
Live rate. Bottle from Booth’s, Ilkley. Pours clear bronze with a fine white foam. Rich maltiness in the aroma with hints of shortbread, strawberry and Turkish delight. Flavour a little disappointing considering; tea and wafers, caramel, minerals...typical English stuff. Thick honeyed mouthfeel. Dull but decent.

[RBESG, Sheffield] Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield. Amber color with a medium white head. Sweet malt aroma, with floral hoppy notes. Grainy. Sweet malt taste with honey notes and some hoppy bitterness. Very uninteresting.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Windermere. Great tasking cumbrian beer. Low carbonation gives it a nice smooth taste. Good body no bitterness and quite sweet tasting. Best served slightly chilled. Good.

[RBESG, Sheffield]
Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours clear golden with a nice, creamy, white head. Aroma has light green apples, grassy hops and bready malts. Fine mouthfeel, lightly dry. Sweet flavour with a good amount of piney and grassy hops. Straight-foward, but well made.
