riversideAK (1468), Shoreline, Washington, USA Apr 24, 2008 Gold and lightly hazy with a thin head. Aroma is a lot like an EPA. Some toasted malt, English malts, light spicy hops, and maybe a little citrus. Flavors of toasted malts, English malts, caramel, some mild citrus, lemon, some sweet fruity malt. Finishes a little spicy and pretty clean. Nothing special, but well done and drinkable.
gotohelunc (325), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jun 30, 2008 Draft at Nashville airport. Golden color, clear, very small head. Balanced aroma combines fruity hops and malt. Flavor isn’t strong with peppery hop bite and a crisp, clean finish. Better than I expected. FishManLA (149), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA Jun 5, 2008 Copper color with not much head. Nose of malts with subtle earthy and fruity notes. Complex malt taste with notes of fruit and subtle hints of spices. Tangy finish with whisps of spice. A lot of interesting complexity to the nose and the taste. Good. Balance of flavors seemed a little off, but a decent brew. knights97 (43), Tennessee, USA Jun 2, 2008 light foam head, hoppy with a citrus taste and moderate in body, bitter but not overpowering, slight after taste which is good, well balanced for a bottle beer RichJ7 (859), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jun 2, 2008 Gold with a thin white head.
