Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz bottle pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a dark ruby color, hazy. Small tan head. Aroma was caramel, with notes of cereal, citrus, light lemon notes. Light funky notes. Tart and delicious.

2-4 oz bottle (red waxed) pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Dark brown with off-white head. Aromas of wine, cherries, light oak. Tastes of wine, tart acidic notes, stone fruit, cherries. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Pretty enjoyable.

750 ml. labeled as "Embrace the Funk Deux Rouges Ale", batch two. Big aroma of tart cherry jumps out of the bottle, joined later by some raisin, red wine and touches of toffee and chocolate. Pours lightly foggy, copper-brown with a lasting thin film of foam. Prominent sour berry/cherry flavor is mellowed a bit by some vanilla cream, toasted oak and dates. Long aftertaste of earthy-spiced (almost cinnamon) cherry, toasted oak and cream is very nice. The barreling is well done; I thought it would be too much wine flavor, but it provides a nice balance to the huge sour and is barely noticeable. Medium body has too much CO2. Pairs well with a hot dog.

Draft. Musty dry berry malt and straw aroma. Dark amber with small head. Sweet-tart cherry, toffee malt, and dry hay flavor. Good body. Very nice.

Draft to taster at the Midwest Sour + Wild + Funk Fest in Indianapolis yesterday. Looks good; a hazy amber with foamy very light beige head. Smells solid; semi-tart and oaky with notes of cherry. Tastes like it smells, but more tart and lactic, with a pleasantly tart medium-bodied mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Bottle - Sour white grape and cherry. Clear orange with a light beige head. Tart cherry and a bit of vinegar. Puckering finish. Not alot going on as far as complexity but a nice refreshing sour.

Bottle generously shared by the Wedge at the RBWG grand tasting. Very sour kriek style ale. Sour notes blended quite nicely. Slight nail polish presence that doesn’t go overboard. Some nice raspberry and lemon notes even it out nicely.

Bottle sample during RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have tart/sour black cherries, wood, caramel, acidic, some vinegar, a hint of grape skins, not too complex, just a decent sour fruity beer.
