COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Many Mexican beer styles today are descendants of old Austrian styles, from when Austria ruled Mexico in the late 19th century. Our Dos Perros is made with German Munich malt, English Pale malt, and Chocolate malt, and hopped with Perle and Saaz hops. To lighten the body, as many Mexican brewers do, we add a small portion of flaked maize. The result is a wonderfully bready malt aroma, balanced with some maize sweetness and a noble hop finish.

On tap at Yazoo, like chewing on a loaf of bread, very malty and touch of sweetness, but not enough to kill through the breadiness of the beer. I can’t find the noble hops but thats no surprise. not a great beer but definitely drinkable

"courtesy of bluesandbarbq - a nice bready toasted aroma greets me upon opening and during the pour. looks like a Negro Modelo or Newcastle. Not a very complex aroma, but pleasantly malty. mouthfeel is thin but smooth. taste is more complex with toasted malt, slight chocolate and sweetness, with a touch of bitter hops in the finish. pretty good for the style, but nothing great

Draft at the Nashville airport. Pours brown with a beige head. Toasted and bready malts, light chocolate malts, and light earthy notes. Not bad.

Pours a dark amber with a lacy head that dissipates way too fast. Good carbonation. Faint aroma. A thin beer with more of a malt taste than hop. It’s OK but not my favorite.

Poured a brownish color with aromas of malt, toast, and light earth. Flavors are the same with some light sweetness thrown in. Not bad just not my style of beer. The ks John for the share.

Pours a caramel brown color with a bready malt aroma. Taste is mild, and almost too thin. A good tinge of sweet flavor, a slight mix of chocolate and molasses. A nice mixture and amount of malt and hops. A decent beer I enjoyed in Nashville Tenn.

Draft - Sweet caramel and biscuit. Dark clear amber with a rich beige head. Light toasted malts and a clean finish. Light and bland, but easy to drink.

12 oz bottle, dated about 1 year ago, served in a goblet A; looks like cola, with excellent clarity, but without visible carbonation. S: caramel and chocolate malts, with an exceptional contribution from the latter. Also a faint spicy/herbal note. T: malty, as expected. A cross between a Mexican brown and an American Brown Ale. Clean finish. M: (Intentionally) Thin body; light carbonation. O: Recommended for fans of brown and amber ales. Less malty but a bit more hoppy than Fat Tire.

From a bottle. Pours clear reddish copper with a bubbly, frothy off white head. Tastes very malty, nutty, roasted, with light booze. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet, roasted, malty, nutty grains.
