3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks alexsdad06). Looks good; a dull black with off-white lacing. Smells good; malty, boozy, and funky. Tastes like it smells with some smoke and less booze. Good on the palate. Enjoyable.

For those wondering about this beer, yes it was an unintentional sour (Sue infected with pediococcus) that was recalled, blended with regular Sue smoked porter and barrel-aged Sue, and then rebottled as Fortuitous. Here’s the story: http://embracethefunk.com/2011/12/19/yazoo-fortuit
