Bottle from ?? - catching up on old ratings from Oct/Nov 2012 timeframe. Pours golden with a decent head. I enjoyed this one more than I was expecting. It’’s not complex, but it’s a solid effort.

This beer is okay from the bottle, good on tap from the keg, and great on tap from the bottom of the keg. Has strong banana, bubblegum, and cloves. Quite unique and incredible drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy golden amber, 1/4" white head and low streaks of lace. Taste is sweet grain with a hint of banana and bubble gum. Carbonation and mild bittering keep things in line at the finish. Quite drinkable, a little understated compared to the best hefes out there.

Poured from bottle, hazy yellowish gold color. Aroma of wheat, bananas, maybe a sweet citrus smell. Taste is sweet, too sweet for me. But in this category, Yazoo produced a good hefe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head. Classic hefe aroma with banana and clove notes. Crisp and refreshing.

Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a small lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, bubblegum, light clove and light banana. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast, banana, light bubblegum and light clove with a smooth lingering banana finish.

Bottle:   Hazy straw, slight orange hue, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Banana and clove on the nose.   Banana is more apparent on the tongue, clove is minor, very slight bubblegum that wasnt on the nose.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not as heavy as most Germans, which might be a good thing.   Finish has a little bit of bubblegum, but by this time its plain ole wheatiness.   Clean example, and much more German than other American made examples.

Nice hint of banana and a citrus in the aroma. Medium body, light finish. Another respectable Yazoo product.
