UPDATED: OCT 23, 2007 Best Hefe I’ve had to date. Perfect balance of clove/banana. Looks and smells great. Every time I drink this, the first one just gets chugged because it tastes so good. I then slow down and enjoy it a lot more on the next 8 pints. :)
They are supposed to be bottling this SOON!!! :)

Pours a hazy yellow with some lacing and a decent white head. Good carbonation. Aromas of bananas, Juicy Fruit gum and wheat and grass. Taste is good with ripe fruity-banana and bubble gum then a little lemon. Great hefe.

This is one of my favorite Hefeweizens so I enjoy it frequently in warm weather. The citrus and coriander flavorings add to the flavor, especially the finish, and they make it completely unneccesary to "hang fruit" (lemon) on the side of the glass. First pours are slightly cloudy, becoming a pleasant clear light amber with minimal residue.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Shag (2229) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - AUG 26, 2007
A cloudy yellow appearance with a moderate head. The aroma consists of bananas, cloves, bubblegum, and some bread. The flavor is heavy on the banana flavors with a bubblegum and dough presence. The aftertaste is slightly sour. For a style I dont normally like, I must say this was a well crafted beer!

Tap, and easily one of the best beers in Tennessee. Cloudy, dull, pale yellow color with a creamy white layer engulfing the head. Delicious aroma - strong, forceful clove and pepper phenols amidst a promising fried banana and vanilla crème motif. Some orange and vanilla-lemon accents fill in the rest, and I’ll be damned if Yazoo didn’t just about nail it. Creamy, lighter fairing flavor and mouth feel aided by a fanciful lemon-banana combo. So even-going that it could be mistaken for a smoothie. Easily disperses across the palate with a banana-graham crème wonderment. Has the effervescence, but backs off to allow the flavor to evolve to banana syrup over Italian ice. Touch of sprits and vanilla cream hang around for the finish. Lovely, excellent rendition.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Cybercat (1735) - Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2011
Pours a slightly hazy solar yellow with a thin white head - not impressive, but I am prejudiced in favor of dark beers, so I’ll go easy since it’s a hefe. Strong aroma is wheaty and yeasty with a slightly sweet lemon overtone. Yummy flavor is wheaty and yeasty and has a firm citrus undertone. There is a slight soapy hint, but this comes and goes. Texture is thick, smooth and finely fizzy. A good summer beer.

First of all..THEY NEED TO BOTTLE THIS! I could drink this anytime of the year. Tastes are very equal between clove and banannas.

From my friend Matt. Pours cloudy yellow with a frothy white head. Nose is immediate creamy bananas and vanilla with some evident clove in the background. Flavor is smooth with again, heavy bananas and medium to light clove and medium vanilla character. Medium sweet finish and seemingly full bodied for the style. Really good Weiss!
