3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: This one pours a murky amber color with a soapy off-white head.
S: Not a bad nose to this beer. Citrus and pine hop aromas with just a light grass not. There are some sweet fruit aromas and a little extra pine on the finish. In between, a touch of sweet caramel and bread.
T: The pine and citrus peel are fairly pronounced on the palate and bring a definite bitterness to the beer. Despite that bitterness, still some sweet caramel flavor. Overall, not a ton of actual hop flavor.
M: The body and carbonation both happen to be medium.
O: Not a bad IPA, but not a terribly good one either. Sort of middle of the road in all aspects.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle-shared by decaturstevo-pours hazy yellow/gold with a rich offwhite head that laces. Aroma is sweet pineapple, medium malt-caramel. Taste is pineapple/metallic/sour, medium malt. Harsh. Apparently 8 months after bottling isnít the ideal time to try this beer :(

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled Dec. 3: Not too much going on in the nose ... which was disappointing, Taste was a mixed bag ... quite a bit of bitterness up front, and right behind that is a blast of citrus followed by strong bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
the bitterness is soft yet strong enough to keep you coming back for more. it has a serious evergreen smell to it, which isnít bad. the smell is most inviting for those of us who love the hops. the citrus hops propel this beer out of the bitters and into a sweet grapefruit/mango/slight appricot finish. very nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Easily one of my favorite of recent Hop Projects. Looks the same as the others. Smells much more hoppy, though - grapefruit and some other citrus notes. Flavor is much more hop forward that previous HPs, a swell, with a lot of grapefruit again, mango, and the a slight earthy overtone.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted on 9/5/11 from a 12oz bottle purchased at Whole Foods Green Hills, bottled on Aug 09, 2011. Pours clear brassy orange with a thick, rocky, off-white head that slowly recedes to rocky lace, leaving thick residue along the inside of the glass. The nose has a nice caramelized bready malt aroma, but it is really all about the citrus, tropical fruit, and spicy hops. The flavor starts off with the lightly caramelized bread malt, moving on to the really interesting spicy, tropical fruit, and citrus hops. The body is light with average carbonation and a long spicy and citrus hops finish.
