COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Project #26 was bottled 2nd week of Feb (look on the left side of the label for the bottled date). For this batch, we first wort hopped with Cascade and Nugget, and then added Amarillo and Centennial at 30 minutes left, Cascade and Nugget at 5 minutes left, and dry hopped after six days with about 1 lb/ barrel of Centennials. It has a wonderful floral nose, followed by rounded grapefuity bitterness, and finishing crisp and dry with a little bit of lingering chewy hop resins.

Picked this 6 up in a convenience store south of Nashville. This version appears to be the correct one. Pours a bright ogrange with a white foamy head. Aroma has piney citrus resin, some spice herbal oniony. Taste is of thick resiny, bitter, citrus fruit. Some malts underneath. Finishes quite bitter with some sweetness. Shrug, fair IPA.

Bottle from a trade with Rustyham. Pours hazy copper color with off white head. Citrus hop aroma with some caramel. Citrus flavor with some sweet malts and iced tea with a good amount of bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Nick.

The look is golden in color, clear, with a white head. The smell is very citrus, grapefruits, hops, and ok. The taste has decent bitterness, fruits, citrus, and good.

"Bottled in the 2nd week of February: Aroma is catty and very strong with notes of dank pine and cabbage. Honey comes into play followed by more green leafy vegetables. Hazy copper-orange body, filmy head and layers of lacing. Medium bodied, decent bitterness. Flowery and fruity hops that become more abrasive as the beer goes down. Toffee, honey and rolls with the vegetables showing up in the aroma. Odd mixture all around and the cabbage becomes distracting."

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2011 My absolute favorite from Yazoo. Great out of a bottle, and excellent on draft. This is one of my favorite beers under 6%.

Good looking clear red-orange, billowy cream colored head. Aroma is lightly spicy, citrus, caramel, biscuit. Taste is caramel, biscuit, then a nicely herbal spicy hop bitter finish.

This was a good go for the Hop Project. A good balance of malt, caramel sweet, citrus, and piney flavors and aromas. Well done.
