3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A little lighter than I expected, but otherwise it’s fairly typical in appearance. As far as the smell goes, it’s a little bit more hop forward - a bit citrusy, too. Flavor is citrus hop forward, then an odd but likable fruity note. Typical Hop Project malty finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted 4/11/11. 12oz bottle. Thanks again to phaleslu for sharing! Pours filtered with a white ring of head. The aromas are reminiscent of tea with a subtle sweetness. The body is on the lighter side of medium. Mild and tart with a slight bitterness. The hops are rather herbal and tea like. Decent stuff.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle from grownfool- thanks again, Brian! Pours a clear, bright amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of leafy hops, tea, earth, amber malts, bread, and wet grass. Flavor of tea, earthy hops, minerals, resin, and rust. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts like tea and ends metallic. Some dank funk in the aroma late. HP43 was a bit better than this one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one.
Clear gold with an average white head.
Hop aroma of citrus and pine along with the underlying malt.
The flavor balance is towrds the bitter side with a light bitterness that starts with the first taste and lingers to the finish where a dryness comes into the palate.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottled Feb 4, 2011. Pours clear copper/amber with a large off white head that leaves tons of lacing and holds a foamy island and ring. Aroma is heavy on floral hops, a bit musty, with some bready malt. Overall the aroma is pretty weak, low to moderate strength. Flavor is much bigger with citrus, resinous hops, good caramel malt in the middle with moderate sweetness, finishes with nice lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, oily, medium to high carbonation. Good Hop Project, not my favorite, but solid. Odd aroma though...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Unfortunately, this was served in frozen glass from the fellows at the Mellow Mushroom in Nashville. Absolutely no aroma at first, but eventually started to give off a nice spring flowery bouquet as ti finally began to warm. The flavor begins with a very light pale malt, followed by a very dry earthy muskiness. the hop bitterness was incredibly subdued, not at all citrus or strong, very much like an English ESB or bitter.
