Twelve ounce bottle obtained at Natifest 11 in trade with decaturstevo (thanks!). Slightly cloudy orange/amber color, small light tan head that slowly decreased with good lacing, moderate sweet hoppy aroma with grapefruit notes, nice mouthfeel at hops coat the mouth, bittersweet flavor that definitely favors the bitterness. IPA fans in Yazoo’s distribution area are indeed lucky to have a series like this.

(12oz bottled February thanks to ericandersnavy) clear gold/amber with a ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of mango, fresh citrus and pineapple. Taste of pine, medium bitterness, citrus oil and some orange/grapefruit combination. Well carbonated and a bitter linger. These hop project beers have been pretty nice.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 12 ounce bottle. I guess they use the same labels for all the many variants of this beer and tape a had written number on top of the cap signifying the number- quite ingenious. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head and some lacing. The aroma is caramel and pine. The flavor is a nice rich IPA with loads of caramel malts, pine, some bitterness. Smooth and tasty. A bit of metal in the finish.

Tasted 4/11/11. 12oz bottle. Once again, thanks to phaleslu for his generosity! Pours filtered with a golden hue. Slight ring of head. The aromas on this one is much more citrus oriented. Light to medium bodied but much brighter than the previous two Hop Projects. Well blended with the Big C hops really adding a punch to the palate. Solid!

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours amber with a creamy near-white head. Aroma is lots of hop. Might be some malt? Near full bodied. Flavor is mixed citric/floral hop. Lots. Having trouble finding malt. This is not harsh and roughly burning, it’s just incredibly intense. Got a touch of grapefruit. My tongue is really tingling. I’m sure this would provide sufficient antioxidant for a week.
