COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled DEC5.11, number 62 in the series. For this one we used all American west-coast style varieties - Cascade, Columbus, Centennial, Chinook, Northern Brewer, and Nugget. The result - a burst of grapefruit, long chewy bitterness, and a woody, slightly minty finish.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is fairly faint, but there is a little bit of grapefruit and some iced tea notes. The flavor is more aggressive. I get some grapefruit and tea, as well as some biscuit malt and a medium amount of bitterness. Medium motuhfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours with a clear, burnt golden orange body with a small white head. Aromas are herbal, citrusy, grassy and slightly spicy hops. Some co-humulone bite. Nutty to grainy malt character. Flavors are of tea, malty, faded hops, light citrus, with a medium nutty/toasted malt character. Lightly earthy/woody finish. Lively bubbles, dry.

This combination of hops creates the exact flavor of grapefruit but incredibly bitter. Its definitely interesting but isnt all that pleasant to drink. I love the concept of these hop project beers.

This is bitter orange juice, creative and tasty but that finish is way too bitter. Solid 3.5 here

Draft served in a pint glass at the Flying Saucer in Memphis. Pours a clear amber with a tiny eggshell white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, caramel malts, tobacco and tea leaves, and a woodsy earthiness. Flavor of caramel malts, grapefruit, tea, orange peel, pineapple, and pine resin. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bitter, citrusy mouthfeel. Another solid Hop Project.
