COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We used a mix of Horizon, Columbus, and Cluster hops throughout, including dryhopping in the fermenter. Cluster is an old hop that was once the most widely used hop in American beer. It has a distinctive aroma and flavor - reminds me of English candy for some reason.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate cleaning solution aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.

Looks like every other Hop Project. Smells pretty much the same, as well. Flavor is the familiar earthy malt, then Crisp, clean and dry hop biteSlightly vegetal, and juicy citrus.

Orange pour with foamy white head and lace. Aroma is large resiny hop dominated. Nice resiny hops with a hinto malt. Strong bitter finish that just continues to grow. Medium bodied with good carbonation. What a bitter.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small bubbly white head. The aroma has some earthy and citrus hops, toasted malts and grass which you might find in an IPA. However, the rotting veggies, cleaner and buttery notes were completely unwanted and distracted greatly from the whole experience. The flavors were less offensive; earthy, ripe fruity, grassy, toasted malts, with only small amounts of diacetyl and oxidation. This was disappointing.

Plum amb et with a frothy cream colored head and pretty nice lace. Aroma is lightly sweet, grainy, some mild grassy hops. Flavor is a bitter and very sharp,--literally feels like it is cutting my tongue Quite the clusterfuck.

Pours a lightly hazy copper amber with a thin head. Nose shows lots of caramel malt and pine resin with some citrus zest. Bit more body than expected. Heavy bitterness and bready malt flavor. Piney.

12 oz. Bottled May 03, 2012. Clear shiny copper with a small, lasting ring of creamy foam. Resin, citrus and earthy toffee aromas. Flavor is the same mix with even more resin and toffee, and a nice woody touch on the bitter-dry finish. Near-medium body is sleek and balanced, with light-medium carbonation. Very nice session IPA.

Excellent hop and malt balance, weak flavor, very nice malt background and good malt finish

6 pack from Kroger. Bottled on June 11, 2012. Pours copper with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sharp and hoppy with a more normal IPA profile than some Hop Projects of late. Some approachable citrus and dank green are noted. The flavor is a little heftier in the malt department, or perhaps the hops don’t cut through quite as much. Still a solid bitterness is present. Grapefruit up front with a more herbal finish. There is something almost earthy that I can’t put my finger on. Honestly, this is a good beer.

Bottled June 12th... guessing this is the right one? Doesn’t say what number on the bottle... but others were bottled on June 11th? Great beer! I’m really enjoying this! Love the heavy pine and backing floral and citrus, great resin, nice light crystal malt profile, almost rye like but probably from the hops, very spicy, easy drinking, wonderful!
