Nov 29, 2009 @Knoxville Brewers Jam-on tap-pours a creamy light tan head and gold/amber color. Aroma is sweet malt, pine hops. Taste is sweet medium malt-some smoke/peat, pine hops.

Nov 21, 2009 On tap at the Fox & Parrot. Pours copper, it’s a rich color for a predictable lager. A pretty decent head forms on top. The aroma is husky with spicy, wooden notes and hints of leaves, corn, and biscuits. The flavor is clean and crisp. Notes of biscuits, spiced notes, corn, and semi sweet flavors are present. The finish is almost corny, but accented by enough commendable beer flavor to be acceptable. All in all, not a bad take on the predictable marzen style. I liked it well enough.

Aroma:Mainly grass and grain with a hint of toast.
Flavor:Toasty malt with an earthy finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Not their best offering.
