A pretty decent head forms on top. The aroma is husky with spicy, wooden notes and hints of leaves, corn, and biscuits. The flavor is clean and crisp. Notes of biscuits, spiced notes, corn, and semi sweet flavors are present. The finish is almost corny, but accented by enough commendable beer flavor to be acceptable. All in all, not a bad take on the predictable marzen style. I liked it well enough. lithy (1687), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
