3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma - chocolate malt, some roast, there is also a little bit of coffee
Appearance - body color is dark walnut/black; the liquid is opaque; the head is 2" and tan/brown, which fizzles out after a minute or two ending in a thin layer of foam.
Taste - taste has a rich chocolate malt, some roast, and smidgen of strong coffee.
Palate - body is medium; texture is a bit on the thin side for a stout, only slightly creamy; carbonation is average; the finish has a little roast astringency, but not overly powerful, the chocolate malt also hangs around for a while.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a thick, oily black with a 1" thick light brown head that dissipates quickly.
Flavor carries strong notes of coffee and roasted malt. Mild cacao notes in aftertaste. Lingering off flavors in finish that thick mouthfeel holds to tongue.
