A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

A nice solid pale ale. Malt sweet aroma with caramel and some citrus. The flavor has the malt up front with the citrus to balance. Dry and refreshing.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Like the IPA, this is solid, but fairly unimaginative. Well made, but nothing unique at all.

12 ounce bottle thanks to John. February bottling. Malty and slightly sweet pale. Richer in color than expected. Not really getting the dominant Amarillo here.

Aroma is citrus and fruity hops. Taste is caramel malty with citrus and floral hops. I drank many of these over a weekend and enjoyed them all.

12oz bottle 1/17/15 (Purchased in MEM)-Pours an orangish amber with a nice head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is not bad.

Pint on draft, pours an orangey amber, hazy. On the nose some caramel biscuit notes. Taste was light citrus fruit hops, largely malt driven, decent pale ale

Bottle. The aroma has notes of an amber ale more so than a pale. The taste is mild and light, not a lot to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Yazoo, disappointed in this one, didn’t feel like an APA to me, not sure what it felt like but either this batch was getting long in the tooth or they have cut back on the hops, because this one had just a tiny smidge of amarillo and not much else, just a boring plain beer
