A handful of floaties in an amber pool with a thin white head and mild lacing. Aroma of floral and vegetal hops and a touch of citrus, and a decent amount of malt – toffee and dough. Taste is too vegetal with a bit of sulfur, caramel and floral hops. A bit of noble hops creep in there too and it finished mildly bitter. Nothing to write home about.

orange with large tan head. nose of citrus hops. some bitterness before low crystal sweetness. the fault of the beer is the floral hops are one dimensional and dont pop. low version of the style

Bottle thanks to Frostyone. Pours orange with little white head that fades to nothing. Aroma is attractive with notes of citrus, sweet mango, grapefruit, bread, and just a little light caramel. Taste is grapefruit, some sweeter fruit like hops, heavy on bread and just slightly sweet to start then finishes dry with medium bitterness. Carbonation is right. Nice and flavorful and heavy on the munich malts.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MaltDawg (1344) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2011
Date: 1/2/2011 Source:Other 12 oz bottle. Spicy hop and yeast notes in the aroma with moderate caramel. Clear yellow golden with small white head. Grainy honey and caramel in flavor with some spicy hop flavor - this bottle may be a bit dated. Medium body and mouth feel. Medium finish with moderate bitterness lingering.

pretty mild hop wise even for an east coast pale. or maybe my west coast palate can only detect massive amounts of hops now. i would say this is 70% malt and some hops in the other 30. pours a lovely ruby color. a little touch of honey sweetness too. some hop stickiness on the tongue.

Copper color in the glass. Floral hop aroma. A touch of caramel malt on the palate with good hop backing. Very good example of the APA style in my opinion.

Bottle from Travlr -- thanks, Doc! Pours a hazy apricot color with a creamy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Smells and tastes of biscuity pale malt and naval oranges with a swab of cotton on the palate. Not bad.
