UPDATED: DEC 22, 2010 12oz bottle. Poured a almost opaque amber with a small off-white head. Aroma: hops, grapefruit, citrus, malt - all a little understated. Taste carried out the nose but was a little watery. Thin body. Overall: good enough for a Pale Ale... but not some thing I would ever think about buying (my bottle was offered at a party).

Minimal lace, amber. Aroma of Pine Sol. Very hoppy, almost overwhelmingly hoppy, like sucking a dirty mop soaked in pine sol. Aroma matches taste. Palate Dissipates Quickly. Fire Sale at Flying Saucer, Nashville.

Bottle. Not bad for what it is, nice appearance anyway. Pretty uninspired flavor.

Clear pale orange yellow. Very little head. Weak aroma with some hop notes. Crisp but watery grassy flavor and a light hop finish.

Very light nose, some doughy malt, and the faint remembrance of hops... Taste is lightly sweet, just lightly bitter, some honey, light citrus. Drinkable.

At brewery. Dark yellow with a little haze. Low to moderate hop aroma. Crackery flavor, and I got an annoying lavender soap smell/taste in every sip. Hops noticeable, but that’s about it. Otherwise bland and inoffensive.

Bottled. Poured clear medium golden with a short white head. The aroma picked up sweeter pale and caramel malts with earth and citrusy hoppage around.. a little sugary, but otherwise well presented. The flavor found pale and fruity malts at the core.. moderate pine and citrus bitterness around.. spicy on the finish, with a lot of residual sugars too. Light-medium bodied and sweet on the palate.. OK feel and flow.. very drinkable.

Draft. Medium off-white head atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/earthy, some bread. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel/bread, orange/earthy. Light-medium body.
