COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

The aroma is very hoppy with citrus and grass. The malts are also there to balance. The appearance is amber gold with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth but thin. Overall a pale ale with many qualities of an IPA.

Pours a cloudy dark gold color with a thin white head. Decent aroma of floral, citrusy hops. Average flavor of floral, citrusy hops with mild bitterness. The body is light with an oily texture and soft carbonation.

Ah, the hometown beer. This isn’t my favorite American pale, but when i take a second to drink it and to put some consideration into the taste, it really is alright. Light foam lacing. There is a nice blend of hops and malt, but unless you stop to taste it, nothing jumps out at you. Knowing that this is still bottled individually by hand gives me a little more reason to buy it more often then i do.

Chattanooga, Tn. - on tap at Taco Mac. Medium gold pour, off white head - nice lacing. Brief spruce aroma, nice subtle bitterness with some pear accents, a bit of caramel and some nuttiness. Nice clean mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear copper pour with a lasting white head sitting on top. The aroma is fairly standard citrusy hops and sweet malt. The flavor is pretty good for a pale ale, with pale and caramel malts, a little biscuit maybe, and a touch of honey, along with citrusy and floral hops. Clean on the palate with medium body and carbonation. Overall, this is a solid pale ale and is my go-to beer when I’m hitting the honky tonk circuit in Nashville.
