2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap in Nashville. Had an IPA before this, but I would still expect more hop flavor. Hops seem nowhere to be found. Clean, malty, bland. Would not have again.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a coppery color with a 1.5" head with decent retention.
Aromas of roasted specialty malts, biscuit, butter, faint American hops.
Flavor is medium body malts with slight roastiness and American hop flavor with an adequate bitter finish for a pale ale. All flavor is overwhelmed by diacetyl (butter) from either a flawed brewing process, yeast, or both. Mouthfeel is thick and leaves a sticky residue.
Overall this is closest to a shipyard pale ale which are known for diacetyl in their beers.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep copper pour with a slightly off-white head. The aroma has floral hops with light pine. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a dry finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle->tumbler. Hazy gold with small offwhite head. Weak aroma of citrus hops, taste is same with some earth notes. Not nuanced, just weak.

I can't really say anything bad about this beer - but I also can't say anything wonderful about it either...

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
FROM NOTES: July 1, ’12
Poured from a 12 oz. bottle.
A: Light citrus hops on the nose with bready, toasted and caramel malts. A: Pours a murky dark orange or light brown color with a two fingers off white head and moderate carbonation. Head lasts a few minutes with no lacing left on the glass.
T: Some fruity malt notes show up, along with the light citrus hops, bready malts, toasted malts, caramel malts, faint note of oranges, and some light pine hops. Finished with a tiny bit of bitterness and more hops than the nose, but still pretty average.
P: Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Easy to drink.
O: An average beer. Lots of malts and not enough of a hop flavor. Not a bad beer, but just not remarkable. I wouldn’t turn down a free one...

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Honestly one of the worst pale ales I have ever tasted. Don’t think I would drink one again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Though this beer is not flawed in any way, it lacks a bit of panache. Hops and flavor are not absent but are so subtle as to make exceptionally clean lines important when served on draft.

nice orangy brown appearance, feels more like an ipa. Crisp, solid beer very good
