COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

On tap in Nashville. Had an IPA before this, but I would still expect more hop flavor. Hops seem nowhere to be found. Clean, malty, bland. Would not have again.

Meh. Dark amber pour is nice. Lots of lacing on the glass. Flavor is Dullsville 2015. Little aroma. On tap @ Baileys, Nashville, Tennessee.

Dry, thin, bitter finish. I’ve had Amarillo, and I don’t get it here. not much character to this beer. the English ale yeast i do detect. no head, no nothing. not impressed.

Citrusy aromas, slight caramel. Orange-gold with a fairly lasting white head. Clean, citrusy, bitter, grainy. Light-medium bodied.

Solid clean but boring pale. Slight pine malts over a little too sweet body.

Draft at flying saucer. From notes. Caramel malt balances out the citrus and pine hops. Very good.

A nice solid pale ale. Malt sweet aroma with caramel and some citrus. The flavor has the malt up front with the citrus to balance. Dry and refreshing.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Like the IPA, this is solid, but fairly unimaginative. Well made, but nothing unique at all.

12 ounce bottle thanks to John. February bottling. Malty and slightly sweet pale. Richer in color than expected. Not really getting the dominant Amarillo here.

Aroma is citrus and fruity hops. Taste is caramel malty with citrus and floral hops. I drank many of these over a weekend and enjoyed them all.

Draft. Orange-lemon malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and mildly bitter orange peel flavor. Nice solid beer.
