Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, soy sauce, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, wood, and soy sauce.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is smoked, tarish and sulphorish. Dark roasted malty, smoked, slight acidic and lingering tarish. Mild sulphorish and subdued cherry. Ends dry and malty.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of lithy/TheCheeseMan. Pours almost black with a warm reddish glow and a light brown head. Very peaty aroma, greasy tar and charcoal. Solid body, hard roast malt, salty licorice and heavy peat with a slight tartness. Subdued bitterness. Interesting. 150311

Bottle at Papsø. Clear dark brown coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, smoke and dark chocolate. Roasted flavour of caramel, dark chocolate and smoke. Roasted and smoked finish.

Bottle. Thanks to Secret Santa!! Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty smokey caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor with nice smokey hints. Has a roasted malty smokey caramel finish.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Black - offwhite head. High smokey, roasted, berries, fruity, cherry, red berries, nice smokey, licorice, high malty. Nice.

(Draught) Pours a dark brown body with a thin beige head. Aroma of roasted grain, smoke, chocolate, caramel, and some dark fruits. Flavor of smoke, roasted malt, subtle chocolate, and earthiness.

@Knoxville Brewers Jam-on tap-pours a rich brown head and dark brown color with red tint. Aroma is ashy/peat-dark malt, northwest hops. Taste is ashy/peat-sweet dark malt, northwest hops. A bit big for me, but good.
