Brewed initially for export to USA.
A lmited amount of kegs were released in NZ as Motueka Warrior (as a part of the annual Motueka/Yakima collaboration with Liberty Brewing)

The beer was then brewed for NZ, Aus and Italy under the Digital IPA label. It will be available throughout the southern hemisphere summer of 2011.

NZ Bottle:
This limited-release India Pale Ale (IPA) is an aggressive wee beast that is dedicated to our friend Joseph Wood of Liberty Brewing and to all those hopheads who love drinking IPA day in, day out.
Just as the term digital is all about zeroes and ones, the concept of IPA is all about malts and hops. Enjoy the rich golden malt backbone of Digital while you can... then feel it closing in as the fruity Motueka-grown hops dominate your palate and don’t ever fade away.

IPA as it should be.

This ale is open source - you may not be able to download the beer itself but feel free to grab the recipe at www.yeastieboys.co.nz.

New country. Bottle pours pale amber, gons of lacing and a strong lasting head. Nose is a blast of grapefruit and oranges mixed with malt. Taste follows in order with plenty of bitterness. Was this beer worth the $11 charged: no. Would it be in my rotation with more availability: yes.

Really nice IPA. Great citrus and floral nose, solid malt core with a full body. Buddy gave me one but I think it comes in close to $4/bottle here in Denver. It stands up to say, the Stone Collabs in the same price point, but not an everyday beer, unfortunately. Too bad-this is terrifically balanced and flat out delicious. >>>Quick update...this beer is actually $7 for a 12 oz. at my local shop. Great beer but not worth it. Glad my buddy bought it for me or I probably never would have tried it...but hey, it was my birthday.
