3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from The Globe, Hong Kong, poured into a tulip glass. Cloudy muddy orange colour with a small head which quickly dissipates. Fruity aroma - pine, grapefruit and some honey. Palate is very fruity wit some malt and hops - grapefruit, peach, caramel and pine. Malt and alcohol backbone. Heavy, but a good recommendation from the friendly barstaff.

Bottle from beer:shop St Albans. a good beer that pours orange in colour pinaple and peach on the aroma. Grassy and strong peach on the taste very bitter all the way through with a big bitter finish a nice one that i would like to try on tap

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a cloudy brown-orange body with a small, bubbly head. Aroma is rose water, diacetyl, nuts, honey, grass, straw and hints of pine and grapefruit. Taste is grass, peaches, passion fruit, pine, resin, straw, bready malts and hints of herbs, tomato plant and caramel. Lingering bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice, but the diacetyl (or whatever it is that I detect as diacetyl, anyhow) in the aroma plus a lackluster appearance draws down the overall impression a bit. Fair enough all in all, but I was hoping for more from the debut beer from a brewery with just about the coolest name ever. :-D

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours dark copper, very hazy, with a thin beige head. Smell of citrus, grapefruit, some spices and caramel malts - sadly i think this bottle may be a bit old, the aromas is not overwhelming. Moderate sweet, citrus and zests, quite clean, medium bitter, spicy with a nice resin tail. Not sure why this bottles was sendt to Norway...... they’re too old

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Dark amber brown, not much head. Sweet fruity malt aroma and flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. A bit watery. More an amber ale than a pale ale. Too sweet & malty for me.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle , liquorking, cromwell, 2months past sell by date. average nose quite resiny and a bit roasted pineappley, flavour quite rich and more beery than lager/pilsner which is good, excellent palate weight with the 7% and really quite a punchy little beer, finishes good nice and rich. old school IPA with plenty of booze weight and soft beery palate

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great beer, very strong and packing in punch. Not sure I could drink it all night, couldn’t afford to anyway. But a couple of these when sitting in a comfy chair after a hard days slog is no bad thing.
