11.2 oz bottle. Pours a dark gold like urine after a night of tequila drinking with almost no head. Aroma of an old smokey hotel room. Smells like ashes, wood, a bit of citrus, and resin. Taste very dry and bitter. Has a skunky taste to it. Ashtray, rotten citrus rinds, and a bit of dirt. Old leaves and rotten citrus rinds. A compost heap. Makes my taste buds want to run away. A bit sour tart sweet and bitter. Making the buds go crazy. Definitely not feeling this IPA!

Pours cloudy golden with a light orange hue and foamy white head. The aroma brings some light, fruity, New Zealand hops, but vague. I think the beer is a bit dead, but the body is overcarbonated for sure. The flavor has some light unique grassy like New Zealand hops for sure and then dies quickly on the palate.

Bottle from K&G. Great IPA. Aromas of tea leaves, and subtle caramel and citrus. Taste is sweet and bitter; long. Velvety, medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Bottled 0,33L Amber reddish charged color, little fraught aspect with a modest head of short resistance. Very fruity hop aroma with notes of cortex. A litte unbalanced mouth with a pleasant hop and grapes taste. Long bitter final.

different for sure. there’s some earthy, leafy aromas going on- and some genuine soil type characters. malt profile is complex bright and candied with contrasting light savoury tones. hops seem balanced but oldskool alpha kinda which is a slight detriment i think. but very good

11.2oz bottle. Pours a straw yellow color with a huge white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops up front with piney resin following. Taste is sweet citrus, grapefruit, pine, and bready malts. Pretty straight forward IPA, nothing that stood out for me.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2013 330ml bottle in Dunedin. More a malty taste for me than the citrus notes in other IPAs. Very nice, but not as big as I’ve heard about or others on here have found. 8 Wired Hop Wired much better for me all round.

What an amazing ipa. This beer hails from New Zealand, and has super hoppy mouth feel with tons of character to it on the palate. Kept long enough on the palate you'll pick out subtle notes of fruitiness like pears and bananas. On the nose it's hop aroma explodes ,and again, the subtle fruit aromas come out. Great beer!

A very nice IPA with a noticeable difference from the standard US brewed examples. Held up in initial comparison but disappointed with a decidedly ’alcoholic’ ending.

Bottle. Pours murky yellow with little else. Aroma is strange yeast vinous, cheese rind, hop vegetal funk, and orange. Flavor is hoppy fruit juice with a grapefruit bitter finish.. Full body but drying biitter. foreign enough not to judge as an American ipa. Good as such.
