3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by Marcus. Poured light copper with a fizzy/creamy beige head. Aroma is very Earl Grey. Even the leafy aspect. Med body. Flavor is Earl Grey with a little caramel. Good stuff , but shockingly different.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Star Grocery. Pours light amber with a nice off-white head and a citrus and bubble gum aroma. There is a medium-bodied sweet malt flavor with lots of Earl Grey and citrus.

3.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Aug. 2013, bottle from City Beer, SF) This is a crazy one! Pours beautifully like hazy amber with an everlasting big bubbly head. The aroma is out of this world! Tremendously fresh like a slightly tart fruit bowl - very, very weak saison-german-bubblegum-yeast thing - like smelling an orange cream colored rose, freshly sprinkled with the purest dram. Very upfront peach/apricot. The taste is absolutely different; extremely carbonated foaming explosively - almost salty with bergamot, an explosion of earl grey tea that disappears like sea foam, leaving a tenuous bitterness. Aroma is heaven, taste slightly disappointing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, some fruit with plenty of tea. Taste is light sweet and a little bitter from the tea leading to a leafy finish. Interesting stuff; liked it.

Tap at Oblivion. Hazy orange pour with thick white head. Huge citrus peel and tea aroma, quite nice. Nice crisp malt with lots of tea and hops. Nice combination.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 8/30 tasting notes - floral nose, hoppy, apple juice notes, smokey notes, tea is prominent, works well. I’m not very familiar with Earl Grey tea but this was quite tasty.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from City Beer SF, August 2013.
Darker orange with a medium white head. This was a special one, the taste reminded a lot of a finnish drink called "Sima". Yeast, soap, lemon and some dried fruit. Quite refreshing, ok.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really nice and juicy beer. Pours light ruby with lots of initial foamy head and tons of lacing. Nose is fruit juicy with some yeast. Note of fruit punch, some peach or apricot some light English breakfast tea and some citrusy bitterness. Tastes are med sweet and light bitter. Full juicy body with lively carbonation. Nice beer and a nice change of pace for the style.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours amber-orange with a thick white head. Aroma is a mingling of citrusy hops and bergamot. Taste is Earl Grey upfront with hoppy citrus following. Some pleasant lingering bitterness and bergamot. Body is on the lighter side with a decent amount of carbonation. You have to like Earl Grey to get into this beer but if you do, the combination with citrusy hops works very well. I love Earl Grey and I love this beer.
