Beery and bitter aroma, hints of tannic tea and orange peel. Glowing burnt orange in colour, oily white head. In the mouth there’s some odd things going on - the tea is a strong flavour, but there’s this soapiness that I can’t quite get my head around. It’s very astringent and tannic on the after taste. I honestly don’t know how I feel about this beer. I’m not a fan of tea, and so for me the tea-like characteristics of this characterful brew are not necessarily a positive. But that said, it does what it says on the bottle - it’s explosive and leafy, full of orange flavoured tea and citrusy hops. Personally, I find it most enjoyable when drunken on a very hot day. An alcoholic ice tea!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks troubles. Hazy orange with a almost no head. Aroma of tea, honey, caramel and stale leafy hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, tea and stale hops. Medium-bodied.

Smelling peach iced tea, and a hint of melon. Taste is all tea, tea, tea. I drink exactly 0 tea ever, so my knowledge of particular kinds is lacking, but there’s a fuckload of tea. Quite bitter, but the bitterness clings to the tea flavours, making it something altogether different. I like it.

Backlog rating. Keg at BD Shoreditch, London. It pours a hazy straw color with a medium white head. Aroma is freshly cut grass, grains, tea laves and citrus peel. Aroma is medium sweet and lightly crisp bitter and dry. Notes of citrus peel, green tea leaves, grapefruit. Finishes lightly dry and citrusy. Overall, ok IPA, decent tea notes

Bottle. Pours a light orange colour with no head, aroma is all orange, taste is bitter at first then some sweetness comes through with a dry finish.

Pours a hazy orange. Aroma is sweet with hints of toffee and caramel. Aroma does not dictate the taste. There's a lot of lemon zest going on and fresh cut grass with a 'massive load of earl grey blue flower tea'. Definitely an unusual mix of flavours but for some reason I keep wanting to go back for more!

Bottle, 11/8/2014. Cloudy amber pour, hazy white head, a few wisps of lacing left around the glass. Aroma is a cloud of Earl Grey leaves, honeyed potpurri, soft citrus flesh, mild biscuit. Taste is round citrus, floral Earl Grey, spicy tea bitterness. Light medium body, drinkable, balanced. Very nice, the tea notes go well with the style- enjoyed this one.

355 mL bottle. Pours lightly hazed amber with a thick white head. Big Earl Grey nose with mildly citric hops. Nice malt backbone, caramel, toffee. Slightly sweet with a well bittered finish. Well past it’s best before, but still quite nice.
