Wow interesting. Not a subtle difference from normal ipa flavours but a nice sharp one.  No significant head with very little carbonation. Subtle aroma of tea and fruit. Flavour is a big smack of herbal tea! Sharp taste. Took me a minute to adjust and come around to this but I’m enjoying it. Certainly delivers what it intends!

I usually dislike when people rate a beer when they have a fundamental distaste for the style. For example, if you don’t like hops than you shouldn’t rate an IPA low, just stay clear of it. But making a beer that tastes like your grandmother’s perfume is deeply off. Perfume is not something the human body should consume. I wish I had of read the label before I bought this. Tastes like floral perfume with only a hint of IPA. Dud idea. Sure taste is subjective but yeastie boys subjectivity is lame.

Unlikely to be everyone’s cup of tea, this is a spectacular beer with a full on whomp of earl grey to it.

Wasn’t sure at first. Grapefruit aroma. Oranges and definitely Earl Grey tea. Grows on you. Good strength and medium on palate. All in all quite good if unusual.

Very floral with big earl grey taste & a great bitter end. Also some fruitiness - limes, peaches & strawberries. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is yeast, orange citrus, light floral. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth, crisp, citrus hop palate. The tea is definitely there too, with some chocolate mint notes all the way through. Very unusual and very refreshing.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - citrus with a light bergamot note. Taste - the bergamot is more pronounced. Citrus through the middle then more earl grey on the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a nice dry finish, though the bergamot makes it a bit soapy. Overall - not sure this particular combination of hops and tea worked for me. Tea too dominant.

Bottle from Brewers Droop, Bristol. Explosive orangescent spicy aroma bursts out of a red orange coloured beer making it look and smell very vibrant. Smells like orange liquer. The bergamot flavour is very apparent in the tasting and makes this a very complex but tasty brew.

Appearance: pretty hazy darker gold color, beige head that faded fast Aroma: tea, coriander, sweet tangerine, Taste: very bitter throughout but not in the usual way, the tea is very evident, has a caramel malt backbone that is kinda subtle Palate: lighter mouthfeel, tea aftertaste, lively carbonation Overall: this is unique, bitter and tea are the dominant aspects, not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co. Red orange brown, not much head. Tea resin hop aroma. Tea and resin flavour and aftertaste. Tea and beer not a good combination for me.
