Inspired by the instrumental surf rock opening track of Paul Kelly’s 2004 album ‘Ways and Means’. as Paul Kelly says himself: "Deeper water, leading me on..."

I’m smiling because you actually never know what it is you’re getting until you get it. I don’t get why it’s an IPA though, there is some more research that I need to make before making bold claims like that, but I guess it has to sit somewhere on the scale of things. This is a bit of good for what ails me and I enjoyed it a lot. And will again.

Golden orange with a small head, aromas of licorice and toffee, an unusual flavour aroma mix but I enjoyed the fresh herbs and licorice with a mild bitter aftertaste. Different but very nice

My two favorite drinks combined. Love the bergamot aroma. Pours a dark amber with thin white head. Tropical fruit at the front of the palate giving way to the tea/hop bitterness which has a moderately long finish. I’d imagine this would be quite dangerous on a hot night

With Z, pours a honey tea color with a nice cream colored head. Nose is deep citrus, predominately lemon and tea. Taste is all in the label truly a tea inspired ale, with a strong lemony tea taste. Have had these tea inspired ales before, unfortunately not " my cup of tea " . Different, and worth a try at best. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Bottle. Pours an amber orange with a beige head and aroma of lemon and tea that really comes through. Taste is lemony and fruity, tons tea notes throughout with citrus and grapefruit leading to a bitter finish. Interesting brew

Bottle. Pours dirty orange gold with off white head. Nose/taste of tea, earth, orange spice, lemon, light toasty caramel malt and florals. Lighter medium body.

16 July 2014, bottle. Yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is light grapefruit hops with an added sweet floral note. Med body and mildly fizzy. Hops aren't as bold and floral aroma really comes out as green tea. Fun and enjoyable.

Bottle: Pours slightly hazy, iced-tea brown with a short, off-white head. Aroma is definitely chock-full of tea leaves....mild fruity hops, potpourri. Taste is floral, peach, tea...leafy, herbal, earthy... Different....very good.

Aroma is fruit, flowers, spices and intensely perfumed. The flavor is fruit, spices, citrus, tea overtones, mild/medium funky sweetness and a tart/sour/slightly bitter finish.

Aromatic hops piney and tea aroma. Pale to amber body with nice lacing. malty hoppy taste with the tea blending in well. Well hopped; not an overpowering IPA. Very nice as something different!

Bottle. Smells of piney fruity hop, bit of citrus/orange/mango, sweet and herbal tea. Tastes very sweet and perfume-y, slightly potpourri-ish. Almost reminds me of the Coedo beers in its perfuminess. Tiny bit of grassiness but otherwise surprised this is classified as an IPA. Not much hop. Like the idea but not enough hop or real tea flavour.
